Getting Ready for Work
今月は日々のルーティーンについて英語で表現をまとめてみました。
出勤の準備をする。
ジムの場合
Jim picked out the clothes to wear. （ジムは着ていく服を取り出した。）
He watched the morning news.（朝のニュースを見ました。）
Then he got dressed.(それから服を着ました。) As he made breakfast,he checked the time. (朝食の準備をしながら時間を確認しました。) Then he ate breakfast and read the newspaper.(朝食を食べて、新聞を読みました。) After breakfast,Jim brushed his teeth.(朝食後、ジムは歯を磨きました。) Then he packed a lunch.. (昼食を詰めて、)
He shut the door as he left the house. (ドアを閉め、家を出ました。) He dropped off some laundry at the dry cleaners. (クリーニング店で洗濯物を届けました。) Then he drove to work. (それから車で仕事に出かけました。)
ノアの場合
Noah woke up.. (ノアは目を覚まし、) ..and took a shower. (シャワーを浴びました。) He put his clothes on..(服を着て、) …and he grabbed his bag.(カバンをつかみました。) He checked his train schedule. (電車の時刻表を調べました。) on the way to the train station …(駅に行く途中で、) …he bought a muffin and coffee. (マフィンとコーヒーを買いました。)
